Hlinka Gretzky Cup: August 3 to 8
The Hlinka Gretzky Cup comes to Rogers Place and the Downtown Community Arena from August 3 to 8.
The international under-18 tournament features leading NHL draft-eligible players from Canada, Czechia, Finland, Germany, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States.
Canada opens the tournament against Switzerland at Rogers Place on August 3. The semifinals will be played on August 7, followed by the medal games on August 8.

Daniel Caesar at Rogers Place: August 13
Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar brings his Son of Spergy 2026 Tour to Rogers Place on Thursday, August 13.

Concert nights can bring increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic to 104 Avenue, ICE District Plaza and the surrounding downtown streets. Allowing extra time for parking, dining and entry into the arena can make the evening easier.
WWE Summer Tour: August 22
The WWE Summer Tour arrives at Rogers Place on Saturday, August 22.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the event beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The WWE event takes place during an especially active weekend in Downtown Edmonton. Edmonton Pride Festival programming will be happening around Sir Winston Churchill Square, while PrideFest and PrideCup will bring additional activity to Fan Park and ICE District Plaza on August 22.

Monster Jam at Rogers Place: August 29 and 30
Monster Jam closes the August schedule with three performances at Rogers Place.
Two events will be held on Saturday, August 29 at noon and 6:00 p.m. A third performance will begin at noon on Sunday, August 30.
The weekend will feature eight Monster Jam trucks competing in racing, two-wheel skills and freestyle competitions. Pit Party experiences will also be available before the daytime performances for ticket holders with the required passes.
Saturday’s Monster Jam performances will coincide with Boots and Hearts West at Fan Park, making August 29 one of the busiest days of the month in ICE District.

The summer event calendar extends beyond the arena at Fan Park at ICE District.
PrideFest 2026 takes place at Fan Park on August 22 from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m., accompanied by PrideCup at ICE District Plaza.
Boots and Hearts West arrives at Fan Park on August 28 and 29. The inaugural Edmonton festival will be headlined by Russell Dickerson on Friday and Shaboozey on Saturday.
Fan Park will also host community sports programming from August 7 to 15, including youth ball hockey and basketball activities.
